Equinox presents – The 25th – Box Set Out Now!
Ohhhh yesssssss…. It’s time to celebrate the 25th release on Equinox Records! We are so happy to finally release this neat box set package that contains a 7inch, a custom USB stick and an audio cassette.
Buddy Peace & Phonatic provided us with two of the dopest megamixes possibly ever made! 2 x 25 minutes of action packed Equinox sound – cut up, edited, remixed. Whether you are familiar with the Equinox catalogue or not – you have to check this out!
Generous people as we all are, we want to share these mixes with you FOR FREE and also want to encourage you to SHARE THEM with your friends, to post them on your blog, or whatever. Please just copy the following link:

You can also post the links to our mixcloud or soundcloud accounts.
But thats that not all folks! Equinox Records wouldn’t be called Equinox Records if there wasn’t a dope piece of vinyl included in the package as well. Therefore, Part II of this gorgeous package is a bunch of unreleased remixes from the label archive. Amongst these are tunes from the never released remix EP that was planned for the 2008 release “One Year & A Day – A Sound Exposure Vol.2“. The A side of the vinyl contains Deadpan Darling’s “Laugh Track” remixed by Deckard. And on the flip, 2econd Class Citizen’s classic “Wishing Well” gets reworked by The Raincoatman and Vangel from Canada. Further tracks on the digital version include “A Year And A Day” by The Peddlers (with Roy Phillips), remixed by Twistedlogic & Pesticyde, “A New Day” by 2econd Class Citizen this time remixed by DJ Phonatic and a new version of Asup’s “Untitled” by lodsb. If you are not into buying nice looking boxsets you buy these tracks seperately on itunes and many other download stores:
Last but not least, as Part III of the box set, we are happy to release the 2007 tour video that features incredible unseen live footage by Ceschi, Noah23, The Dedicated Beatheads & 2econd Class Citizen. The 50 minute movie is definitely fun to watch and is available on the ultra limited 2 GB USB Stick that comes along with the first 50 copies of the box set. However, those who buy the cheaper normal package (without the USB) will receive a free download code for the whole video.
So yeah, that’s it folks. Hope we’ll soon be able to hit number 50!

Random Seed – The Equinox Records Music Podcast Episode I
With a fantastic mix by Andreikelos we want to start our new podcast series entitled “Random Seed”. The series will feature mixes by friends and like minded artists from around the world.
This first time, the podcast features tracks from the Equinox catalogue only. Ranging from classic tunes off the “Sound Exposure” compilation like Danny Decock’s “G.k.S.” or DJ Scientist’s “Anything About Nothing” to newer tunes like Kraddy’s “Android Porn (Mochipet Godzillaporn Remix)” and Geste’s punklike electronica, the mix gives a broad overview of the Equinox catalogue and might bring back some good memories as well as giving new impressions.
Gorgeously put together with a lot of blends, edits and drum additions this might be the best 40 minutes of music to enjoy for some late summer nights. Download now for free!

New Amazing Review for Geste’s “Jaw Breaker”
It’s never to late for a good review:
Germany’s leading electronica magazine De:Bug has just written a few nice words about Geste’s “Jaw Breaker“ release. It’s written in German and kind of difficult to translate, but here go with a portion of the review:
“Eleborately designed 12″ in milky transparent vinyl with a poster and tracks that live up to it’s name. Brutal breaks, mean baroque synth melodies, burring basslines and an exuberant terror flair which is almost making one weep for joy… Monster.”
If you can read German, check the original review right here:

So, don’t sleep on getting this record!!
